Up to date and future-proof

Your SatMeter is programmed at manufacture with the latest available data for the satellites in your region, or for any specialist needs that have been arranged. This data is prevented from corruption by being edit-protected, and the end user cannot edit individual values within the dataset. The datasets come complete and tested for the region, or broadcast type.

The datasets published on this site are made available only after they have been extensively tested by real 'end-users'. Broadcasters change their parameters without notice, and as soon as we are notified, we look for new parameters and post them to the website when they have been verified. Our 'end-user' community reacts quickly to the changes, and we really appreciate their extensive help, particularly with data verification.

With the introduction of SatPicker our new program for creating custom datasets, the user can load exactly the right configuration into the SatMeter - and can do so without the need to stay online throughout the process. This is beta software and we need your feedback.

If you discover a change in existing services, identify a new need, or have a special data request, please contact us by email. We cannot promise to be able to provide information for every broadcast service. The meter is for identification of DVB/DSS boradcasts in the Ku and C bands; it cannot lock on services using the Digicipher, PAL or NTSC protocols.
