Terrestrial meter data

Terrestrial transmission frequency plans remain much more stable than the satellite data. However, form time to time new mux configurations are implemented and the DTM meter is easily upgraded to reflect these changes.

If you are using a TM2 meter version you will have to return the meter to us for a chargeable upgrade as the end user cannot program the meter.

In order to sucessfully update the meter you should take care to complete all the steps in the process.

• Check the firmware version by looking at the version code displayed when you boot the meter. There are two possibilities:
  • CE or MT
• Download the correct firmware version:
  • CE Firmware file
  • MT Firmware file
• Download the Meter Loader Software:
  • Meter loader software application
• Use the Meter Loader software to update the meter firmware.

UK national broadcast data has been divided into 9 regions. There is some transmitter overlap between the regions.

• Choose the appropriate data file and transfer it to the meter using the Meter Loader appplication.
  • Scotland and Borders
  • Northern Ireland
  • Isle of Man
  • North England
  • Middle England
  • Wales
  • Southern England
  • West of England
  • Channel Islands
