Computer interface lead
Connect your PC and the meter
The transfer of datasets to your meter requires the use of a special interface lead. It has 9 pin D plug at the PC end, and a 6 pin Mini Din plug at the other. Many suppliers ship their meters with pre-assembled leads, but for those who do not have one, they are easily created.
The attached pinout diagram shows the interconnection between the leads.
Note that the diagram shows both plugs from the solder side.
If your computer does not have a 9 pin serial COM port you can buy a USB to serial converter. Be careful with the COM port selection within the SatLoader.exe Utilities menu; some trial and error may be necessary to ensure successful transfer.
